Photo taken looking down Estabrook Ave. toward the heart of old town. The proud steeple of the old Presbyterian church can be seen at rt. center, and the victorian house that most know as Dr. Van Hook's offices is at the far end of  the street.(Thanks, Terry Holland, for this picture!)

Garrison of Spanish-American war soldiers from Oliver Springs, led by Gen. Harvey H. Hannah (far right). Photo taken as they were encamped at Oliver Springs near the close of the 19th century. Third from left is drummer boy Gerald Hannah, younger brother of Harvey, and later to be a prominent player in Oliver Springs history.

Peggy Lockett Potter, beloved wife of William "Bad Bill" Potter, town marshall  and otherwise notorious character in Oliver Springs history (Thanks to Wanda Brown for graciously providing this photo of her Kinfolk!)
